R&D teams:

Profiles:
Open to industrial engineers of all kinds, from telecommunications to IT. Applicants should be engineers with a strong theoretical grounding and solid knowledge of concepts, so that they can be applied in order to propose solutions and solve tasks in the development of new products.

Purpose and tasks:
The purpose of this team is to make possible products defined by the input from clients, new trends and technologies and studies on future needs.

The tasks of this unit are: applied research and development of various subsystems; design, characterisation, modelling, simulation and analysis; prototyping, the design, planning, execution and analysis of tests on the prototype, redesign and iterative improvements on prototypes until they fulfil the initial requirements. This is all done at a mechanical level, with mechanical and electronic sub-systems, and electronic circuit sub-systems, and at a software level, developing software for communication and printer interfaces.

Customer Assurance Team:

Profiles:
Open to industrial engineers of all kinds, particularly those interested in management. Very high level of English and social skills to respond to customer complaints and properly relay them to the engineering departments. Positive and proactive attitude.

Purpose and tasks:
The principle objective is to provide support and improve the experience of clients who work with our products year after year. Pushing for the improvement and transformation of existing products, working on new configurations, identifying new opportunities and detecting flaws.

The CA engineer is responsible for all aspects of service management and improvement of client services, through the definition of key support strategies and the consolidation of processes in organisations providing services. This includes close interaction with clients, serving as a bridge with the engineering, manufacturing and R&D teams in order to relay customer feedback, drive product improvements and actively resolve field problems and customer issues.

Open to industrial engineers of all kinds. Applicants should be engineers who not only possess good technical skills, but also very strong knowledge of English and communication skills, as they must work with many people in multicultural environments, and be quick to learn and convey objectives and manage conflicts skilfully and independently.

Purpose and tasks:
The purpose of this team is to work actively on New Product Development, reporting information on R&D to ensure optimal product design in terms of manufacturing, maintenance, service and cost. They also have responsibility for the product in terms of engineering once production has begun, incorporating improvements to meet objectives of quality, cost and manufacturing efficiency.

This work is carried out in close collaboration with other HP organisations in Asia, which are responsible for management of the production, developing equipment, tools, controls and processes necessary for production. All of these activities are conducted at a global level of manufacturing and distribution, working with both external and internal business partners on matters ranging from R&D, supply chains, regional distribution and marketing.

Regulations and Environmental Team:

Profiles: Open to specialists in environmental sciences, chemical engineers, mechanical industrial engineers or operations engineers. The capacity to learn, communicate fluently and tactfully, and a proactive attitude are all particularly valued.

Purpose and tasks: This team is responsible for the final result of the completed machine, adjusting its design at every step to respond to legal and environmental requirements. (Energy, materials, recyclability).

The tasks involve a great deal of management and testing of the environmental suitability of materials used in the construction of printers and inks, and possible emissions of products into the air, etc. Assessments of robustness, vibrations, energy consumption, emission of vapours and particles and the environmental footprint of the entire manufacturing process.
